I can hardly believe we are well into July already
and that summer is almost half over.
Every year around this time I start to feel like summer is just zooming by way too fast.
School starts up in early to mid August over here- and seems to start earlier all the time.

Right now, we are gearing up for that graduation party that is just a week away-
so lots of busy last minute stuff going on.
And about 23 new projects that I decided HAVE to be done RIGHT NOW before
the party.
Tell me I am not the only one who adds 23 renovation/redecorating things to the to do list right before a get together.
It is like all of a sudden- everything needs to be changed and re-styled.
Pretty sure I make my husband a little crazy.
And a busy July and August are on the calendar with a lot of work and play.
This week, I am off for a few days on a video project-
tune into Instagram and Snapchat for a behind the scenes look
and on my blog, I will be sharing a super simple way to change the look of a fireplace
in a 3 post fireplace series.
For now, it is time for the month of June in review.
Some of your favorite posts this month were also mine.

I'm a native Cali girl, but don't live there any more (too expensive). Your home reminds me of what California used to be about. Even our little hometown of Sonoma has become too commercial. Reading your blog takes me back. thanks.

As always your posts are very inspiring! I can relate to the last minute adrenaline rush to create, redo, or restore when my energy could be focused on the main event. I usually go with it though and drive my husband crazy. Enjoy your graduation party and all those extra completed projects!
